RIPE Eatery on Wednesday, January 27 will help raise money for Haiti earthquake relief. All food sale profits will be donated to Doctors Without Borders - America, during lunch (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and dinner (5 – 9 p.m.) and the waitstaff will donate a portion of their tips too.
Live Music Includes performances by: Mike Duncan (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.), Julio Ortiz (5 p.m. - 7p.m.) and Black Coyotes (7 p.m. - 9 p.m.) This event is sponsored by RIPE Eatery, PrintSpot and Viva Creative Group.
Also on today’s show, we talk with members of the exciting new culinary television project, "Cocina Indigena."
Antena Productions in association with Rebirth Multimedia and Santasombra, propose two pilot programs for a T.V. cooking series that explores the indigenous cuisine from the different regions of Mexico. The purpose of the show “Cocina Indigena” is to show the importance of Mexican indigenous cuisine to audiences around the world.
The show will be hosted by the Chef Miriam Ceballos Helguera, from Mexico City, who has extensive knowledge of international cuisine and has studied in cities like Mexico City and New York.
