11.2.10: Today's Show

Today on The Lisa D Show at noon on KHRO 1150 AM we'll talk to Juan Ferret, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at UTEP. Ferret will be live in the studio promoting this Friday's 1st meeting of the Philosophic Systems Institute (PSI). The main aim of the institute is to provide an inclusive social space and broad collaborative opportunities to discuss and work on solutions to fundamental questions and problems regarding complex systems.

Event Info:

The event is free and open to interested individuals and groups. This is a family friendly project, so friends, spouses, and kids are welcome. There will be live music, courtesy of Grau Jazz, some finger food alongside fermented and non-fermented refreshments.

The inaugural meeting will serve to introduce the structure, strategy, and goals of psi as well as to illustrate some ongoing projects. The theme and discussion for this meeting will be: "Did the Economy Kill Schrödinger's Cat? Fundamental Questions about the Growth of Economic Systems."

This Friday November 5th, 6:30-8:30 pm at 1500 Texas Ave. in the GlasBox gallery,between Texas and Cotton (the entrance is on Langtry Street, side door, up the ramp, to the end of the hallway).
