Today on The Lisa D Show at noon we'll start the show with an interview with our good friend Chris Babcock. Babcock will discuss issues that matter to him and news that should matter to you.
Then we'll talk to Jim Tolbert about two petitions circulating to preserve the Scenic Transmountain Corridor. To learn more about the campaign visit http://elpasonaturally.blogspot.com/.
Next we'll discuss all the super fun shopping options available to those of us wanting to go local this Holiday Season! We'll hear from Andrea at Creative Kids about this Thursday's shopping night at oLo Gallery. "This Thursday, Creative Kids Inc. is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary of empowering El Paso youth through the arts. Creative Kids is celebrating with a special shopping night where unique items designed by the youth in program will be for sale. Items include: silkscreened scarves, organic t-shirts, bags, tea towels, corrugated luminarios, castles and playhouses as well as vases and candleholders. With a ten-dollar donation, shoppers will receive a print. There will also be a raffle of the children’s artwork and a one-of-a –kind Christmas tree. 100% of the proceeds will be reinvested back into the Creative Kids organization."
