Parent Workshop on Bullying Today at Mesita
Tuesday, October 5th at 6:00 p.m.
Bullying Workshop features bestselling author and national speaker, John Linney. The presentation will follow a 5-minute PTA General Meeting.
Did you know that by 5th grade, 91% of students identify bullying as their No. 1 concern. Every day, 160,000 students stay home due to fear.
In this dynamic and interactive workshop, parents will: 1) Better notice and understand bullying; 2) Understand the impact of bullying on both emotional and academic success; 3) Improve listening and effective communication strategies; 4) Learn practical strategies to help your child whether they are the target, aggressor or bystander; and 5) Learn how to partner with you school as an ally against bullying.
