Welcome to Friday and National Athletic Trainers’ Month. Today we’ll start the show talking with personal trainer Emilio Araujo III a member of Sun City Athletic Trainers’ Association is the local Athletic Trainers’ association. SCATA is a non-profit organization composed of Athletic Trainers’ (professional and students), Physical Therapists, and Physicians from the El Paso and Las Cruces area. SCATA’s goal is to inform the community about the importance of Athletic Training in education settings, Doctors’ Offices, Rehab Clinics, Corporations and US Military to name a few. This Sunday March 21st at Butterfield Trail Golf Course, SCATA will host its 5th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. Be sure to listen in for more information on this unique fundraiser.

Next we’ll move on to our interview with author and editor Hara Estroff Marano. Marano penned the book “A Nation of Wimps: The High Cost of Invasive Parenting” where she attempts to ward parents off raising wimping, weak, whiny kids. Secondly Marano states that “Parental anxiety has its place. But the way things now stand, it's not being applied wisely. We're paying too much attention to too few kids—and in the end, the wrong kids.” Are you raising wimpy kids? Find out today on "The Lisa D Show."
