3.2.10: Today's Guest

Today’s featured guest is Ho Baron, sculptor and El Paso native. We’re going to discuss his upcoming show this Thursday at the Union Exhibition Gallery, Gods For Future Religions "Surreal Sculptures by Ho".

We'll also talk about Ho's career, government funded arts programs, the art scene in Santa Fe, how the world sees his work and so much more.

To learn more about Ho, do a Google search and you’ll come up with some information like this:

From Wikipedia
Baron's surrealistic bronze, "The Free Thinker," is on permanent display at Baltimore's American Visionary Art Museum. Baron also has pieces in the permanent collections of the El Paso Museum of Art, the El Paso Museum of Archaeology and a permanent public art sculpture, A Novel Romance, at the El Paso Public Library

From hobaron.com
My sculptures are fun and funny, and they are a satiric visual representation of my world view. They are anthropomorphic creatures, they are grotesque fantastic icons, and they are "gods for future religions." This sculpture is but a peak into my spectacular world, my life's work of more than 300 sculptures.
