“We had Fungi Mungle play last year and it was so much fun, their energy and interaction with the kids was great! At one point they had a conga line going,” said Stephanie Otero, VP of Ways and Means for the Mesita PTA. “We think Mesita is a very cool place and we love that Fungi Mungle thinks so too.”
The Mesita PTA (Parent Teacher Association) and Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) support Mesita students, parents, and faculty in numerous ways including educational resources, field trips, programs that are not funded by EPISD, as well as helping to maintain their ground-breaking “Connecting Worlds” program that was developed at Mesita and is now unique only to the El Paso Independent School District, state wide and nation wide.
