Event: Binational Independent Film Festival

Info: Documentaries at the Downtown Main Library at 5:15 pm FREE OF CHARGE. Films at UTEP’s Union Cinema at 7 pm. Again, the most affordable tckets in town - $2 for Seniors, Students, and Military, and $4 General Public. This year we have movies from: United States, Mexico, Canada, Chile, Argentina, and Ireland.

As always, every day at UTEP’s Union Cinema, there will be a talk with filmmakers after the 7PM Movie, and every other day at the Downtown Main Library after the Documentaries at 5:15, as well.

Event: Rubin Center Opening Tonight @ 5 p.m.

Tonight at the Rubin Center: "Please join us as we hold the opening reception for "Up Against The Wall: Posters of Social Protest", "Solidarity and Struggle: The Politics of Graphic Design in Mexico During and After the Revolution" and "Sunkoo Yuh: Seasons" from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15 at the Rubin Center"

The Rubin Center board held a funder last night in honor of the visiting artists, providing El Pasoans the chance to mingle with international artists while raising funds for the arts. Click here to see the article and photos.
