The El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union is selling a specially designed Holiday Souvenir Ornament commemorating the recent Celebration of Lights Program in downtown El Paso at San Jacinto Plaza.

The ornaments are $10 and are available at any of their eight (8) branches in the city or at the Candlelighters Administrative Office at 1400 Hardaway St. (Suite 206).
All of the proceeds raised will be donated to Candlelighters of El Paso that was started in 1978 by a group of parents whose children had all been diagnosed with cancer.

Today the organization is dedicated to enriching the lives of children who have cancer by providing hpe, support, encouragement, advocacy and education to those children, their families, and the community at large.

Up to three times per year all members will automatically receive shipments of wine in accordance with the member’s initial instructions. Creative Kids Inc. celebrates it’s 10-year anniversary with a shopping night


On Thursday, December 16, 2010, Creative Kids Inc. is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary of empowering El Paso youth through the arts. Creative Kids is celebrating with a special shopping night where unique items designed by the youth in program will be for sale. Items include: silkscreened scarves, organic t-shirts, bags, tea towels, corrugated luminarios, castles and playhouses as well as vases and candleholders. With a ten-dollar donation, shoppers will receive a print. There will also be a raffle of the children’s artwork and a one-of-a –kind Christmas tree. 100% of the proceeds will be reinvested back into the Creative Kids organization.

Creative Kids Inc. is 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based art organization whose mission is to empower youth through the arts. Creative Kids engages students in visual arts, culinary skills and graphic design. Creative Kids mentosr over 700 youth throughout the year that include: disadvantaged/”at-risk” youth, children with disabilities and children battling cancer.

“This year, as Creative Kids embarks on its ten-year anniversary, it is important to recognize the El Paso community for their continued support. Creative Kids believes that the arts should be an essential part of a child’s life experience, and we ensure children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to have these creative outlets is made available to them.” Andrea Gates-Ingle, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Creative Kids Inc.
