Today on The Lisa D Show at noon we'll start the show with an interview with our friends from the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. They'll be on the show promoting this weekend's Fiesta Celebration on Nov. 19th.
Also we'll look into where you can get the best Thanksgiving meal supplies. Big 8? Walmart? Super Target? Sun Harvest? And if you have vegetarians coming over for Thanksgiving dinner, are you going to cook a tofu turkey?
Then we'll talk to Grant Watkins. Grant speaks nationally on caregiver burnout and sexual assault awareness and prevention. Grant is the author of CPR for Caregivers:Connect, Project, & Reflect through Mind, Body, and Spirit and Unpinned -Breaking the Hold of Sexual Assault and Abuse. Most recently Grant participated in an Oprah Winfrey show on sexual assault against men, today the interview will focus on this experience and how he overcame his attack and is helping others.
