This Friday night's event will have a special focus: Pecha Kucha Night El Paso's upcoming event and Global PechaKucha Day for Haiti. 20 seconds, 20 images, 200 cities, 2000 presentations, 200,000 people - with the aim to raise $1,000,000 for rebuilding Haiti.
About: Pecha Kucha is intended to gather creative individuals to share their work and ideas in a night, chilling-out, getting together and exchanging thoughts in an informal environment. Pecha Kucha welcomes creative minds from the fields of Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Fashion Design, Animation and Design in general. We also invite students who are looking for a job and want to promote their skills. Pecha Kucha represents a new expression venue for people in the creative world.

1.24.10: PechaKucha Night needs presenters

Friday, February 19, 2010 at FORUM Arts and Culture, is the night of the next PechaKucha Night. The call for presenters is still open, so take a moment to visit the website for more information as the deadline is fast upon us.
Pecha Kucha Night is open to architects, graphic designers, musicians, art directors, techologists, photographers, filmmakers, creative students or anyone else with ideas El Paso and the world needs to know about.
In a few weeks, a little closer the event date, we'll interview William Helm on "The Lisa D Show." In the meantime, please help spread the word and secure more presenters for the evening of the 19th.
