Speaking of Roses
Spring is here and there are bloomingh roses galore at the El Paso Rose Garden on the corner of Auroro and Copia in Central. Open everday 8A-6P until Oct. 30th. Roses are in full bloom, so many colors, so many scents!

Lend us your Ear
Several representatives from the The Center Against Family Violence will be in the studio promoting Lend Us Your Ear, a very unique fundraiser this Thursday where you can buy earrings and support a good cause.

03.26.10 – CAFV-Center Against Family Violence invites you to a fun evening of cocktails, food and jewelry shopping as you Lend Us Your Ear and help stop family violence. This spring fundraising event forCAFV will take place on Thursday, April 22, at The Garden, located at 511 Western Court from 5:30p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are $35 per person and can be purchased by calling 915.593.1000. This fabulous, not-to-be missed party will feature new and gently used earrings and other jewelry collected from wonderful donors, artists and retail jewelry stores for you to feast on!

Proceeds from Lend Us Your Ear will benefit CAFV’s Emergency Shelter for Survivors of Domestic Violence, which housed over 800 persons last year. “The important work of preventing family violence and protecting those harmed by it belongs to the community. We are excited about “Lend Us Your Ear and help stop family violence” as a means to share our message and generate much needed funds,” said Stephanie Karr, Executive Director of CAFV.
